  • review: I don't like Stephenson anymore. While this is an okay read, the ideas keep clunking ahead and it feel forced and just unsavoury. This is some of his earlier work. Okay, magic and some governmental shenanigans. Okay, some time travelling mischief. But then the ending just feels a stereotypical chase and I didn not like how it ended into a shoehorning situation.,
